Day 12- Pray for Financial Strength and Wisdom- “21 Days of Prayer”

Our prayer focus is financial strength and wisdom for ourselves, our church, and the body (capital “C” Church, All churches).

It’s important for us to remember that God has blessed us with our resources to bless others. In order to bless people, we must be good stewards and use Godly wisdom to keep our finances strong. The bible says that if you need wisdom, ask our God who gives generously to all without finding fault. So today, we will ask God for wisdom concerning our finances.

We want God to be able to trust us with our money. Trust that our money and investments will not be on the throne of hearts. Trust that we will respond selflessly to help our brothers and sisters even if it means we have to make sacrifices. Ask for God to continue to show everyone how to be faithful with what He has already given, before He blesses us with opportunities to gain more wealth.

Scripture:

“Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home. “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?”

‭‭~ Luke‬ ‭16:9-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Prayer:

Father God, Thank you for being Jehova Jireh, our provider. You have so graciously blessed many of us with good paying jobs, businesses, successful investments, inheritances, gifts and so much more. God we ask that you give us Your wisdom concerning our personal finances and the finances of our churches, businesses and organizations. Let every business deal, investment, gifting, and income tax filing be done with integrity and honesty. Teach us to be better stewards with the resources You have already given to us. We ask that You bless the people who are struggling and need Your favor to get them out of a tough financial situation. Lord we know You desire for us to live blessed lives as long as You are on the throne of our hearts. Before You increase our bank accounts, develop our character to Your liking. As You continue to provide for us, we pray that our first priority would be to generously give back to You and bless others as Your Word instructs us to.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.
