Day 11- Seek God First – “21 Days of Prayer”

Today, we will be praying that we continue to seek God first in everything that we do. We’re asking God to order our steps and consider our ways.

One of the biggest challenges in life is matching our faith with our actions. We serve a God that doesn’t speak audibly (well not to most) but He’s always moving, blessing, forgiving, loving, extending grace, providing and more. Our God is about a action and He desires His children to be about action, too.

Today, I challenge everyone to reflect on the revelations that God has given you during this time and be ready to do what He asks of you. Ask Him for wisdom about where He wants to lead you during this second half of our fast and strength to keep going. Be brave. Be faithful. Be encouraged. 💙

Scripture:

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.”

‭‭~ Psalm‬ ‭127:1‬ ‭

~ James 1 (Whole Chapter)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the privilege of being used by You. We pray that You order our steps in Your word and consider the ways of Your people. We pray that we will continuously seek You first in every action that we take so that Your will is done and our work is not done in vain. Help us remember that we are willing vessels used by You as You build and tear down. We won’t speak until we hear from You, pray/fast until You tell us to, move until we feel You lead. Help us to rid distractions that make it difficult to hear you clearly. Give us the wisdom, courage, and strength to take action in obedience to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
