We are into Day 6 of our 21 Days of Prayer/Fasting. God is working! Please share a testimony if you’ve had an encounter or revelation during this time. We’d love to celebrate with you!
Today’s prayer focus is people with unhealthy addictions. Over the next 24 hours we will pray for those struggling with alcoholism, pornography, gambling, drugs, and any other addictions that plague our communities. Our hope is that our passionate prayers will tear down invisible walls of isolation and break the cycle of all addictions.
God has given us power and authority over or minds thoughts and actions we have too much potential , too many abilities, and too much purpose to fall into the trap of the enemy. Gods plan for our lives is to give us hope for the future. Pray that addictive behaviors do not keep us from knowing our full potential in Christ and pursuing their divine purpose.
Prayer:
Father God, we pray for those who are struggling with alcoholism, pornography addiction, gambling, drugs, and any other addictions.
It is written that when we live according to Your Word we can stay on the path to purity. Create in Your people a clean heart, God, and renew a right spirit within every person who is a victim of addiction. Heal and restore the mind, body and soul. We bind the cycle of addiction in the name of Jesus.
May your love and presence be enough to satisfy all of our needs. We thank you and praise you for you are the living God who can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think. In Jesus’s name.
Scripture:
“Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared. Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good. How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life. May your unfailing love come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your promise;”
~ Psalm 119:37-41
